Hjelmslund Electronics began the activities in 1990.
In the beginning the main activities were first of all maintenence of
electronics, and development of prototypes. Primary clients were danish research
laboratories specialised in physics and chemistry, that had a need for small,
but very specialised electronic circuits.
In 1999 the development continued with a bigger project that should control some oil cleaning processes for the comapny C.C.Jensen.
The project was finalised in a PLC controller, powersupply and userdisplay.
Was CE approved at a test at Delta electronic, and product was released for sale in summer 2000. |

In 2001 became a new, and very different project launched. In coorporation with Infologi.com was a piece of electronic for use in vending maschines
developed, and the idea was that customers could send a SMS to the vendingmaschine that dispenced a Cola, and the customer was deducted the
price for the Cola on the phonebill. Hjelmslund Electronic developed the electronic modules, and infologicom made the payment gateways.
The project was ready in july 2001 and was running in a demonstration periode for 3 months.
10 Cola vending maschines became hooked up with modules and tested in cinemas in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conclusion was unfortunately
that there weren´t basis for the idea yet, and much too few people used it, and it died a silent death.
